Hi guys,

Just wanted to get a feel for how things work here at AWF in regards to shows and story develpoment etc..

back in the asylum it was kind of left to the indevidual to come up with their own stories and write their own segs etc which I dont mind and kinda enjoy but I know in the real world of wrestling the superstars just are given stories.

If you could let me know how things work and of course if I can be of any help i'd much appreciate it.

How do things work?

What a question, Galactus... What a question.


Well, let's start from where all the things should start, the beginning.

1- As you can see, the forum is not the most active ever. In fact, most of the top wrestlers only participate via PM (or don't participate at all) and almost never enter the forum. This thing has many sides to be considered. The plain side is that it's quite unfair. But the side I like to see and the way I carry this roster on, is that you, the ones that participate, can do whatever you want, whenever you want. In fact, it has never happened, but if you ask me for a Championship that you barely deserve (don't ask for the Warrior of the Ring or the WHC if you are below the middle of the roster), you can have it. And by "you", I'm talking about every single one of you who enter the forum.

2- The stories are hard to keep because of this thing of the dead forum. Right now, a Face Stable (the "AWF Raiders", made 75% with forum-active wrestlers) is fighting against a Heel Stable ("The Killer's Excelence", 100% made by me). And almost everything is about them.
H2O and Rob Bailey started a feud in the last two shows of the past season, but since Rob Has been invited to the Raiders, I don't know how it is going to continue. Maybe H2O could join the TKE... I don't know.
There aren't current Number One Contenders for the Championships, so the first show of the season will be about them. A new Championship will be created and something has to happen around it.
Most of the shows is written by me. I try to give life to every single wrestler in the roster, so if you don't participate, you will appear less but your character will be alive. Undeadman, for example, once sent me a message saying that he was sorry, he had to work almost too much and he couldn't participate, but he was happy with his character (the top heel of the roster).

3- How to participate? You can write your own stuff and post it on the forum, you can talk to anyone who wants to have a feud and send it to me via PM or post it here. The way you choose is the right way. You only need to have fun and be happy with your wrestler's development.
Everyone here has, at least, 3 apps assured. In a couple of seasons I think we will be ready to take a Mondial ride, so I encourage you to buy as many entrances as possible.

I like to participate and I really do enjoy writing segs etc so I think I'm in a good position to help you out.

trying to write every show on your own is bound to be a total nightmare so please feel free to send me any stories you want writing for wrestlers feel free to PM me. could probably do 2-4 per week. All I need is a very basic plot of any kind and I'll write you some great segs for it.

Info I will need to do this is

Wrestlers names
Heel or face
duration of feud (Short term = 2 shows, mid term = 1 Season, long term = 2 or more seasons.

I'll do most of my own writing and probably quite a bit for mental patient as we will be re-forming our fed partnership that we had over in the asylum.

I wont ask for a title shot just yet as I have only been here a few days and have not even had my first match yet but I'll let you know when I'm ready. My fiirst fued will either be against a singles title holder or with mental against the current tag champs. I'll probably start that in the next season once I have settled in and got a few matches under my belt here.
